Xbox360 vs PS3-which one should I get?
Aight lets get to the chase. I have till sunday to choose between a ps3 or 360. Give me all the pros and cons of each system, is xbox live better than psn?? Also NO FANBOYS OR FAN CHICKS!! Only people who have both systems
PS3
better gfx and doesnt RROD. better controller. CPU can handle more upcoming titles. Blu Ray.

Both system are good online! Depends on what type of games you like. Fps games are for xbox 360, sports are for ps3.

Price, performance, visual quality, game selection and online support. I think the XBOX 360 wins in every category.
I just got Elite System online includes Xbox360 black console, black wireless controller, 120GB hard drive, standard definition composite cable, black headset, ethernet cable, Xbox Live silver membership (1 month of gold).Awesome! Here is the link you can have a try, have fun!

Definitely xbox 360 yes the graphics are somewhat similar to the ps3, but if you want to save $100 go with the x box, Starting at $299, they are loco in the moco

I have been wondering which system to get as well and I haven’t decided yet. So, I have been doing research on which is better. Right at this moment I am leaning towards getting the Xbox 360
Xbox 360: you have to pay for online use, but not too bad. They have bulky controllers but not really a good or a bad thing depending on what you like. They have more features and more games.
"With its extensive digital media features, a superior online service, and an excellent game library, the Xbox 360 remains the game console to beat."
PS3: you get a blue ray which is a plus, but when I get a console I get it because I want to play video games not watch movies. The graphics are slightly better than the 360. You get a built in wifi connection.
"The high-end Sony PlayStation 3’s larger hard drive and ability to play PS2 games makes it a worthwhile alternative to the cheaper model–so long as you’re willing to wait several months for the more promising exclusive titles to hit store shelves. If backward compatibility is your top priority, this hard-to-find model may be worth the search."
It really all depends on what features and games you want and which console your friends have. I hope this helped.

Xbox 360 Pros:
Cheaper
Better online experience
A supposably larger game library
Ability to play music and cross game chat while gaming
Ability to integrate your Zune with your system (granted that you have one)
Xbox360 Cons:
RROD issues
Shorter lifespan due to hardware (No Bluray)
No built in Wifi or Bluetooth
It sucks as a media center
Not able to copy media on and off of 360 hard drive
Limited hard drive upgrade
Somewhat loud
PS3 Pros:
Free online
Longer lifespan due to hardware built for the future/more powerful hardware
Built in Wifi/Bluetooth
Blueray player
Great media center system that allows you to copy media on and off of you PS3
Easily upgradeable hard drive
Has a built in self clean function
PS3 Cons:
Online experience not up to par with Xbox Live
It’s bigger (if size is important)
Not able to cross game chat or listen to music in ANY games (up to the developer) FOR NOW.
Not very usable on a standard definition TV
I personally own a PS3 and my roommates own an Xbox; I have played both and prefer my PS3. Not being able to copy media on and off of an Xbox and the lack of Wifi is a burden to me. Both systems are fairly cheap now so It pretty much comes down to what suits you. I hope this was helpful.

Well i hve played both and let me tell you PS3 are much better
People might say xbl might hve a bigger online community than PSN BUT theyre almost equal
bcoz of the PS3s Playstation Home..
its a massive world built into the PlayStation Network, Home is Sony Computer Entertainment’s virtual world for PlayStation gamers. With an avatar uniquely customized according to ur preference, u can explore the 3D community that is Home, a sleek, modern environment featuring spacious common areas, custom spaces dedicated to specific games, and personal apartments. Everything can be customized to your liking with items you collect or purchase.
Not only is Home your home online with PlayStation 3, Home is also a vast network of communication for PlayStation users. Browse the Hall of Fame for trophies players have collected in various videogames, or just hang out in a virtual outdoor lobby to talk with text and voice. Other features in Home include a theater where the Home world also users can watch videos from one users’ collection together, a series of mini-games that players can play, and much more as Home evolves.
There is also a new motion controller comin out for the PS3.
The newly announced Motion Controller is equipped with two motion sensors, three axes gyroscope and three axes accelerometer that can detect the controller’s angle and movement held in the user’s hand. Like the Wiimote, the new controller is a stick and is extremely accurate and smooth, very tight, and moving at 60 frames per second.the PlayStation Motion Control is much simpler and elegant
